The Home

The basement contains additional home furnaces and a discrete laundry area, plus extra pantry space and root cellar. The cellar is cool enough for canning, root vegetables, or a wine cellar, but it does not freeze so you can preserve goods year-round.

Barn & Accessory Buildings
About 600 feet from the home, the property features several multipurpose accessory buildings. The metal barn built in 2012 is 42’ x 48’ with a 15 foot ceiling. There are removeable kennels. (The current owner trained livestock dogs & had a dog-sled team.) The high ceilings and open concept design make this space ideal for storing ranch equipment, hay and feed, utility vehicles, tractors & machinery, recreational sports equipment & supplies, and more! The barn has water, electricity, and septic access installed.
A second pre-existing storage and tack room has horse stalls and chain-rolled doors with well-preserved wood floors. Added features include front and back double doors and end-to-end electricity with installed outlets. No holes were drilled in the container to keep it water-tight and pest-proof.

Maintained gravel paths provide vehicle and trailer access. Typically, livestock only needs supplemented hay in winter and early spring.
Recreation & Hunting
Feel like a spontaneous adventure? Use the maintained trails to take a snowmobile or UTV to the top of Caribou Mountain and around the west-facing side to see the first gold mine in Idaho!
You can get to almost anywhere on ATV or snowmobile. This area is mapped with many groomed and maintained trails. You can access some of Idaho’s natural hot springs and alpine ponds & rivers!
If you’re an outdoor enthusiast, hunting opportunities abound. This area is known for its thriving elk population. However, you’ll also find mule deer, moose, bear, and upland game like ruffled grouse and pine hen.
